August 14, 2008 - A few months ago I finished the final edit of the game trailer for Taleworlds "Mount & Blade". I was shocked when they contacted me at first, but they realized my passion for Mount & Blade and I was honored to create a trailer for them. The reviews from the community were both good and bad. Like all things though, you can't please everyone. I was glad to know that Armagan and the team liked it.

I have a top secret project being released soon. But that's all I will say for now. Below is the official statement from Paradox Interactive regarding the release of the Mount & Blade game trailer.

July 1, 2008 - Paradox Interactive invites you to charge into the fray as it releases the first trailer to showcase, the medieval action RPG by TaleWorlds – Mount and Blade.

For those of you who enjoy slaying their enemies from the comfort of an elevated position, the trailer brings to life the art of horse-mounted combat and focuses on typical cavalry skirmishes.

So don't waste a second more. Grab hold of the reins, slide down your visor and hold your shield close. Steady your nerves and draw you bow, sword, axe, hammer or lance. Spur your horse forwards and charge into the fray, straight into glorious battle!

XCORE Episode One: A Life of Service

July 06, 2006 - It's been a while since my last update. A lot of projects are in the works. I have been contacted by european game developer TaleWorlds to create their official game trailer. I am really excited to be working on the project. One of my top secret projects has been revealed. I am creating a feature length animated series called X-COM: UFO Invasion (working title) based off of the popular turn based strategy game by MicroProse. I will be using the game engine from the game "The Movies" to create the series. The series will have professional voice acting and sounds. I will release each episode as they are created and will probably put them together into a feature length movie within a few years. On a side note, I am working on creating the last two edits for Contact Magazine's furniture design showing that was held on May 19th and 20th in downtown Phoenix.

February 18, 2005 - The website is being updated. I will be adding more video's to the video's clips page as well as new pictures etc. Also, I have a secret that I am not sharing with anyone. Actually I have two secrets. One is an upcoming film, and the other is...well you will have to wait to find out.

December 2, 2005 - I got a call today from a foundation who wants to send me to Anaheim, CA for a week to document their conference about The Evolution of Psychotherapy. This is pretty exciting. I will be back on the 12th.

April 22, 2005 - Short Finger Films will be filming the band Sicmonic also known as "The Awakening" at Joe's Grotto in Phoenix. 11:30p.m.

April 7, 2005 - Filmed Kenosis and Bobkatt at HGM's in Scottsdale.

April 5, 2005 - JamesMuia.com created

I have spent the last 7 years mastering every piece of technology and software that I could get my hands on. Since moving to Arizona in 2002, I have completed a degree in Multimedia specializing in digital video production and animation from the University of Advancing Technology. I've worked primarily on independent film and entertainment television and I have been involved in projects for clients ranging from "Century 21" and "Honda", to feature films like "Bloodline: The Legend of El Charro", to live concert productions of indie bands around the valley. Working very closely with directors on projects, I have become very effective at managing in the field, and can still produce in strained situations.
